Enjoy the video which highlights 2 of the wineries we will visit. The Heathcote region is renowned for being one of the best shiraz growing regions in Australia and no wonder, the majority of soil here under vine is Cambrian - rich red volcanic and deep with excellent water retention. Many claim that the shiraz grown here is the best anywhere.

Heathcote wines are defined by their inky depth of colour and deep, dark complex fruit. wines that are simply well balanced, smooth and sought after to enjoy. As well as the shiraz, Heathcote also produces excellent examples of sangiovese, tempranillo, petit verdot, cabernet sauvignon and merlot in the reds and in whites voigner, marsanne, riesling, chardonnays and sauvignon blanc are simply devine.

Itinenary

Pick up will be approx 8-9am then we will travel to this amazing wine region to enjoy some of the finest award winning wines in Australia.

Lunch will be at Heathcote Winery and we will enjoy tasting a superb cheese platter with our wine tasting at McIvor Estate.

Arrive back in Melbourne suburbs around 6.30pm
